I'm John A. Watlington, an Acton resident for over twenty years, and an Acton Land Steward for over 10 years.

I became much more active in Acton's Conservation lands after spending almost a year in the Songjiang/Suzhou district of China, and realizing that the conservation land we had all around town was a gem. The interest in Invasive Plant Species followed soon after, as I started trying to identify what plants I was seeing and realized that many of them were NOT native plants.
