On the southwest side of Great Hill, it adjoins the Acton Discovery Museum. When the Museum parking lot was expanded in 2020, they introduced Japanese Knotweed to the area around a small retention pond that was created between the parking lot and conservation land. This was noticed in spring 2022, but unfortunately nothing was done about it.

In Aug. 2025, as part of surveying the patch, the Knotweed on conservation land was cut and stacked, before it could go to seed.
